Dr. Frank J. Vascimini

DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY

Dr. Frank J. Vascimini is a dedicated and expert Doctor of Dental Surgery and has been practicing dentistry in Homosassa, Florida since 1989. He attended Manhattan College in the Bronx as an undergrad and graduated from New York University’s College of Dentistry in 1987. Dr. Vascimini then completed a one-year general practice residency at University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. He has co-authored two articles for the prestigious dental periodical, “Implant Society,” and is a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute. Additionally, Dr. Vascimini has completed more than 1000 hours of continuing education and remains committed to furthering his knowledge and expertise, including extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, and root canals. He is husband to Rita Vascimini and father of their two sons, Frankie and Anthony.

Rita Vascimini

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Rita is a full-time dental hygienist at Masterpiece Dental Studio. She graduated from New York City Technical College with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene and has been with Masterpiece Dental Studio since its inception, initially serving as the office manager. Rita and Dr. Frank Vascimini were married in 1987 and together they have two sons, Frankie and Anthony. When not at the Masterpiece Dental Studio, Rita spends her time baking and volunteering in the community. She and her family are members at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto where she is a Eucharistic Minister. Rita enjoys being part of the Masterpiece Dental Studio team and loves to improve the lives and oral health of our patients through education, guidance, attentiveness, and care.

Laura

Receptionist

Laura joined the Masterpiece family in 2021. She graduated from the College of Central Florida with an associate degree in Health Information Technology. As a spouse of a military veteran, she has lived in many different places with her husband, Jake, and their two sons, Julian and Lucas. After living abroad for five years in Germany and Spain, she and her family moved back to Florida to live near family. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and visiting museums. Laura is thrilled to be part of the Masterpiece Dental Studio team, and she is passionate about the patients and exceeding their expectations of a dental visit.

Sheryl

Dental Assistant

Sheryl is Dr. Vascimini’s dental assistant at Masterpiece Dental Studio. She graduated from dental assisting school in 1984 and has used her skills ever since. Sheryl was born in Staten Island, NY and was raised on a farm in Missouri until she was 14 years old. She and her family moved to Citrus County in 1979, and she has been with Masterpiece Dental Studio since 1998. Sheryl and her husband, Lonnie love traveling and enjoying the great outdoors–they love to camp, hike, and whitewater raft. Additionally, they are both members of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Inverness. Sheryl is an integral part of the Masterpiece Dental Studio team and continuously provides enthusiasm, expertise, and experience.
